Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Surface Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.

The successful candidate will operate surface mobile machinery to recover ore, ensuring targets are met safely and timely following operational standards.

About the Role:

  • Operate heavy equipment to haul loads and work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient ore loading & delivery.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and commitment to all task instructions and procedures, consistently adhering to these when carrying out operational tasks.
  • Support the efficient operation of mining systems and processes by providing reliable and accurate operational knowledge to minimize downtime and potential loss of production.
  • Achieve production targets by applying knowledge operating equipment to undertake ore handling activities in the safest and most efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Surface Mining operations operating heavy equipment is essential.
  • Demonstrated high level of safety standards and work behavior.
