About the Opportunity

This is a new and exciting role based at our Wacol office in Brisbane, for an Executive Assistant to join the Hitachi team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless executive support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative and project support to the Managing Director, including meeting arrangements, catering, minutes, and agenda preparation, as well as compilation of meeting reports.
  • Manage the Managing Director's emails, calendars, and set up meetings as required.
  • Efficiently sort incoming and outgoing correspondence, including handling the inbox, flagging key emails, responding to correspondence, and organizing client folders, including letters and packages.
  • Support the Managing Director's daily activities.
  • Advise on time-sensitive and prioritize urgent issues to the Managing Director, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Work closely with the executive team to organize travel and accommodation.
  • Handle and manage confidential documents to ensure they remain secure.
About You
  • You have proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • You possess excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships and deal effectively with people of all levels.
  • You have advanced experience using Microsoft Office programs.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You possess advanced organizational and time management skills.
  • You are capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and work with information of a sensitive nature.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of office management - basic accounting is advantageous.
  • You have proven ability to be proactive and show initiative, working independently.

  • A competitive salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus 11% superannuation.
