About the Role:
Are you a motivated and experienced leader looking to take on a challenging role in mining operations? As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of skilled operators to deliver high-quality results.
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd as a Senior Team Leader in our Wacol, QLD location. You will have the chance to lead a team of professionals and make a real impact on our operations.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Leveraging your experience with earthmoving machinery to optimize operational efficiency;
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve safety and productivity;
- Motivating and guiding your team to achieve exceptional results;
- Communicating effectively with internal staff, external suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth collaboration and effective workflow;
- Reviewing work practices and identifying areas for improvement;
- Implementing initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency;
- Working closely with the Supervisor to ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant trade qualification with extensive industry experience;
- A strong understanding of earthmoving machinery – preferably Komatsu;
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and inventory management software;
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols;
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and needs in a dynamic work environment.
