About the Role

This Senior Client Manager position is responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships, including daily accounting and taxation requirements. The successful candidate will be required to oversee and/or attend to the preparation and completion of financial statements, income tax returns, and other lodgements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of $1.8m + and being the primary contact
  • Overseeing a high-performing team and advising clients in all aspects of business development
  • Managing the lodgement program for a portfolio of clients, including reporting obligations such as TBAR and other superannuation reporting obligations
  • Assisting clients with other taxes such as payroll tax, land tax etc. when necessary
  • Actively contributing to practice management and development
  • Managing the billing process for a portfolio of clients and debtor management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in commerce/accounting
  • 7+ years' professional experience in tax and business advisory services working with complex client groups including family groups, SMEs and high net wealth individuals
  • Ability to manage strong client relationships and drive business development
  • Previous experience leading a team of at least 3+ team members
  • Detail oriented
