Senior Analytics Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Professional to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction through data-driven insights.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to interpret retail business needs and develop actionable strategies using advanced analytical methodologies. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to deliver clear business recommendations and support the activation of pilots and productionized roll-outs.

The key duties and deliverables of this role include:

  • Divisional, One Data, and External Partner management
  • Identifying key actionable insights from advanced analytics and translating them into clear business recommendations
  • Applying leading practice analytical methods and techniques in an agile, pragmatic way
  • Creating business enthusiasm and demand for Advanced Analytics through effective communication
  • Delivering seamless, proactive service to stakeholders through effective articulation of customer opportunities and commercial benefits

This is a trusted advisor role that requires cultivating relationships with stakeholders and leadership teams to improve their understanding and knowledge of data science techniques. The opportunity to research and apply new Advanced Analytics opportunities in areas such as prediction, regression, machine learning, and broader Artificial Intelligence applications is also available.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to visually present modelling outputs, insights, and findings for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Applied Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
  • Business and commercial acumen
  • Analytics professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in advanced analytics positions and a total of 5 years' experience in data-related roles
