  • Coordinate company and subcontractor vehicle operations for the pickup and delivery of customer product in line with expectations.
  • Book and manage all deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Develop and maintain the most efficient fleet solutions for customers, meeting or exceeding commercial and operational imperatives.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure all work is completed for the day in line with customer expectations and safety/compliance guidelines.
  • Escalate any service or safety incident to a supervisor on shift.
  • Update KPI dashboards communicated to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure maximum fleet utilisation and minimum disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop utilisation and deployment plans that reflect real-time fleet capability.
  • Manage bookings and paperwork for seamless delivery execution.
  • Support general operational and administrative requirements of the branch, including TMS management and KPI data production.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in scheduling/allocating within transport/logistics (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of rail, road, and coastal transport operations, including administration processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
