Student Internship Officer

About the Role
The University of Melbourne is seeking a highly organized and administrative professional to support the delivery of internship and experiential learning activities within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. As the Student Internship Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of employability programs, manage day-to-day queries from students and stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of internship activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of employability programs, including for-credit and not-for-credit initiatives
- Manage day-to-day queries from students, academic staff, and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and data on internship activity for semester reporting purposes
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Internship Officers, including event support, program support, and webpage updates
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification with subsequent work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training in a similar role in a tertiary environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support and contribute positively to a busy and fast-paced team
- High-level computer literacy skills with demonstrated information technology capabilities, including Microsoft Office suite, databases, email, and web management
