Job Description

This is a permanent part-time role commencing Term 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the classroom and workshop to enable the teacher to instruct students effectively, preparing specialised equipment and materials and providing operational advice for design and technology classes.

  • Maintenance and assessment of technical equipment
  • Carry out repairs and maintain the design and technology equipment
  • Complete stock takes and order supplies
Key Skills Required

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in operating technical/industrial equipment within a design and technology workshop/class or similar environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to work independently
