Restructuring Associate Role

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the position of Restructuring Associate. This individual will play a critical role in delivering client engagements and working alongside experienced practitioners to design and implement financial and operational restructuring strategies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field, along with CA or CPA qualification (or progress toward completion). A minimum of 1 year experience (for Associate role) or 3 years' experience (for Senior Associate role) in restructuring, insolvency, transaction services, corporate finance, audit, business services, or a similar field is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed financial and operational analysis to assess business viability, liquidity, and restructuring options
  • Support the development of turnaround strategies, cash flow forecasting, and implementation plans
  • Build and review financial models and prepare client-ready reports and presentations
  • Assist with accelerated M&A processes, contingency planning, stakeholder negotiations, and trade-on strategies
  • Prepare detailed reports for various stakeholders, including lenders, boards, and regulators
Requirements
  • A strong MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively
  • Strong project management skills
  • Team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
Key Skills
  • Financial modelling and analytical skills, including preparation of 3-statement and liquidity models
  • Demonstrated capability to manage workstreams or lead juniors
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
