Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Program Coordinator Role

The Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the provision of services to FDSV Pilot sites.

  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing FDSV resources, providing culturally secure FDSV advice, building stronger connections within the sector to increase FDSV capabilities, and maintaining processes to support pilot site deliverables.

The aim of the Pilot project is to develop and implement family, domestic and sexual violence practice within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector.

We are seeking an individual with relevant skills and experience.

  • Possession of a relevant qualification in Social Work or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated theoretical understanding and knowledge of family, domestic and sexual violence in an Aboriginal cultural context.
  • Proven experience in program management and planning, organisation skills, and ability to prioritise competing demands in a complex working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Please note that applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia and will be required to provide evidence of this entitlement. The position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of workplace participants identify as Aboriginal.
