Job Role Overview

The RF Modelling Engineer will be accountable for delivering high-quality engineering outcomes on time. You will design, develop and implement RF systems that meet customer requirements, following best practices and company processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and review RF system requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs and company goals
  • Develop, optimise and analyse RF/E3 system solutions to achieve performance and compliance
  • Translate designs into manufacturable products, considering cost, production and support factors
  • Manage integration, testing and qualification of complex RF systems, resolving design and validation challenges
  • Use simulation tools to develop and validate high-quality solutions, including detailed analysis and test interpretation
  • Support engineering management through defect resolution, equipment changes and continuous improvement activities
  • Engage with stakeholders as a technical interface, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Contribute to project planning, risk management, cost estimation and delivery of work packages

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in RF/E3 engineering within maritime/defence sectors
  • Experience in developing RF/E3 equipment designs, design analyses and reviews
  • Experience in system integration, validation and qualification testing
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
