We are seeking a talented Electrical Systems Design Specialist to join our team.

This role will support the development of electrical systems for spacecraft and associated technologies, contributing to groundbreaking projects in lunar mobility and in-situ resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to PCB and circuit design, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support the development of electrical hardware and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with circuit card manufacturing and assemblies, adhering to quality standards.
  • Conduct hardware testing and qualification, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement EMI/EMC considerations, mitigating potential issues.
  • Address radiation and environmental tolerancing requirements, ensuring system robustness.
  • Develop and apply upset and risk mitigation strategies, minimizing system downtime.
  • Work closely with RF/hardware and software engineers on design and validation, fostering collaboration.
  • Prepare technical writing and documentation for firmware products, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all stages of work, prioritizing employee well-being.
Preferred Disciplines:

Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience studying an engineering discipline at university.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate electrical systems with other components.
  • Confidence to participate in design reviews and provide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
