Intensive Care Unit Registrar

The Intensive Care Unit of Peninsula Private Hospital is a busy 11-bedded unit admitting in excess of 1500 patients annually. The unit has a predominantly post-operative case mix with a wide variety of patients including complex Cardio-thoracic, upper GI, Neurosurgical patients, and Orthopaedic patients.

We are seeking applications from a candidate with critical care experience interested in becoming part of our dynamic department.

About You
  • Applicants must be at least 4 years postgraduate with experience in critical care (ICU, Anaesthetics or ED).
  • Hold unconditional AHPRA Registration (essential)
  • Be available for flexible shift work over a 7-day roster (12-hour shifts)
  • ALS / CALS certification (desirable)
  • Must hold additional private indemnity insurance (employee indemnity will be provided).

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a range of beds including 11 ICU beds which include 15 day infusion chairs.
