Job Title

You will be part of a global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals working together to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting rainfall, flow and flood assessments, including modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, and risk assessments.
  • Support the development of existing Mine Water group capability in stormwater management and flood studies (in both mining and urban environments).
  • Conduct water management-related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Collaborate with teams across hydrogeology, geotechnical, civil and environmental disciplines.
  • Prepare technical reports and supporting proposals for various mining clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field with a strong focus on hydrology and hydraulics.
  • 3+ years' experience in water engineering, ideally with exposure to the mining or resources sector.
  • Technical capability in water balance modelling, flood studies, and drainage design.
  • Proficiency with hydraulic and flood modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, and MIKE).
  • Excellent technical writing skills with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting.
