Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves managing day-to-day phone interactions with business customers, enhancing customer relationships and growing the business services portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, be able to work under pressure and multitask autonomously. They must also possess strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage outbound calls to existing customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • To sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and customers of various solutions.
  • To identify new business lead opportunities and communicate them via standard operating procedures to relevant field sales personnel.
  • To develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone conversations and networking.
  • To effectively manage and resolve all customer enquiries in a timely manner.
  • To focus on client retention and protect existing portfolios by identifying opportunities to re-sign and upgrade existing contracts.
  • To create quality sales leads for the field-based sales team.
  • To liaise with other departments to ensure customer enquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Sales, Account Management and Customer Service roles.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Previous working experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
  • 2 years excellent customer service/telesales skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in B2B sales development.
  • Highly effective time management skills.
  • Intermediate computer and system skills.
  • Complaint handling experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and work autonomously.
  • Meeting deadlines and KPIs' on a daily/monthly basis.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Lovely working in a team environment.
