About the Role
BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is a world-class business, built on the strengths of BHP and Mitsubishi. BMA is part of the world's largest diversified resources company managing various mines and a port in Central Queensland.
We are seeking a skilled Drill Operator to join our team at Goonyella Riverside Mine. As a Drill Operator, you will be responsible for conducting surface blasthole drilling operations, ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace, and maintaining high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, and housekeeping.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- RIIBHD301E – conduct surface blasthole drilling operations
- A strong commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a team atmosphere
- Willingness and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, and housekeeping
- Compliance of mine safety procedures, SOP's and SWI's
- Proven attendance and performance record
