Job Overview

The Senior Advisor, Procurement role is a strategic procurement position that provides timely and expert advice to internal & external project staff.

This includes supervising all procurement transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing the implementation of procurement policies, systems, and frameworks.

The role requires providing accurate and timely reporting on all procurement matters to ensure best practice processes are followed by project teams across all HI projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on experience in conducting procurements and implementing strategies.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework.
  • Be conversant with procurement requirements across multiple categories including infrastructure, and Goods & Services.
  • Develop strong stakeholder management skills in a fast-moving environment.
  • Work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements:
  • Seasoned procurement professional with relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement, excellent analytical skills, and be able to provide sound advice to stakeholders. A strong focus on delivering results, collaborating with team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements will also be essential for this role.
