Procurement Advisor Job

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Procurement Operations to develop and implement strategic procurement plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Procurement Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Validating stakeholder business needs and compiling market information to inform procurement planning;
  • Implementing contract management plans and negotiating contract variations to enhance category outcomes;
  • Supporting the development of category plans using category management processes to support business needs;
  • Training internal and external stakeholders on best practices for procurement activities.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Broad experience in a procurement role, including knowledge of contemporary procurement best practice;
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to effectively manage a high volume workload and meet deadlines;
  • Well-developed oral and written communication and negotiation skills, with strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Proven experience in working with ERP systems, particularly in the procurement module.
