Job Description

This role offers direct client access, close collaboration with Partners, supportive training, and mentoring. You will advise top-tier clients on liability, strategy, and risk management, analyzing and advising on indemnity and liability, advocating across multiple jurisdictions, and negotiating commercial outcomes.

Scope of Role
  • Direct client access;
  • Close collaboration with Partners in a strong team environment;
  • Supportive training and mentoring;
  • Advising top-tier clients on liability, strategy, and risk management;
  • Analysis and advisory work including indemnity and liability;
  • Advocacy across multiple jurisdictions; and
  • Negotiating commercial outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will be engaged in various aspects of insurance and personal injury litigation, balancing legal and commercial considerations in negotiations, drafting clear and concise correspondence, and possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2+ years of PAE experience;
  • Experience in insurance/personal injury litigation;
  • Ability to balance legal and commercial considerations in negotiations;
  • Ability to draft clear and concise correspondence including advice work;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to deal with clients and other parties;
  • A willingness to learn;
  • A 'can do' approach; and
  • Team player.
Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements to assist our team to balance their professional and personal commitments.
