About the Role

CHC Group Australia (Crew) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager, Flight Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flight services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the flight operations team, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including CASA and IOGP standards.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum Australian ATPL (H) and postgraduate qualifications in management or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in aviation operations and management.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
