Job Title: Deputy Manager, Flight Operations

CHC Group Australia (Crew) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager, Flight Operations to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.

About the Role:

The Deputy Manager, Flight Operations will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our helicopter fleet, as well as providing leadership and guidance to our flight operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the flight operations team
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum Australian ATPL (H) and experience as an offshore and/or SAR pilot
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Management or similar
  • Rated on multiple types presently operating by CHC Australia
  • Meet CASA requirements for CASA Head of Flying Operations / Chief Pilot
  • IOGP compliant for Captain
  • Command helicopter instrument rating with Instructor and/or examiner rating on one or more of CHC AUS active types
  • Effective leadership skills with ability to mentor and drive team performance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent Customer engagement skills
  • Demonstrable experience with operational, commercial and budget planning processes
  • Knowledge and/or experience in safety, quality assurance and risk management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands in a high volume, rapidly changing environment
