Senior Specialist SA, Serverless Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist SA, Serverless Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, you will play a critical role in helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Interact with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
- Technical Thought Leadership: Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts, providing expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative.
- Program Development: Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, technology, and consulting partner channels.
- Solution Creation: Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
- Community Enablement: Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your domains, creating field enablement materials for the broader SA population.
The WWSO team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists dedicated to helping Startups grow better when they choose AWS. As a member of this team, you will be a Specialist Solution Architect that helps Startups adopt AWS' technologies with a focus on Amazon's Serverless services.
Requirements- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- 7+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
- 5+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources.
- 5+ years of technical experience in serverless architecture and applications.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Technical Executive capacity.
- Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies common to Startups.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
- Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Proficiency with design, deployment, and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools and orchestration approaches.
- Advanced degree highly preferred such as engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
