Change Analyst Opportunity

Talent International is seeking an experienced Change Analyst to support our State Government client in Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating effective and efficient planning and delivery of organisational change for adoption within a new facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement change management artefacts and tools to support the Director Change Management in achieving on-time program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with project teams and change specialists to plan and deliver business process analysis, change impact analysis, and change activities to support the successful transition for staff to the new centre.
  • Conduct impact and readiness assessments, and document key changes to processes and practices, in consultation with subject matter experts, utilising relevant change management tools and identify areas of resistance and develop mitigating activities.
  • Identify and document change-related risks and issues, and provide mitigation strategies and advice regarding implementation of plans.
  • Ensure the program's projects and workstreams' change management approach and plans are practical and achievable, address all components, and can be executed to achieve commissioning and ongoing service delivery.
  • Prepare the client for a new operating model and process changes.
  • Act as a bridge between the program, projects, and business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed, enabling all impacted stakeholders to implement the agreed changes and realise anticipated benefits.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the documentation, implementation, and evaluation of business change on a program/project(s) within a large and complex public sector organisation.
  • Proven experience in developing organisational change management artefacts and tools in consultation with subject matter experts, including change impact assessment, change management approach, and business readiness assessment.
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the elements of project management, including contemporary change management and business integration processes and strategies.
  • Proven high-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently, under broad direction, and against established priorities, practices, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes.
