Electrical Industry Sales and Business Development Leader

Eaton, a leading power management company, seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive growth and increase market share within the Utilities segment in Australia and New Zealand.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within Utilities and Renewables.
  • Support the team to identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Drive accountability with Business Development Managers to deliver on their sales and margin targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using Salesforce.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales and business development experience in the electrical industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in power distribution solutions and services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team of sales and business development managers.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving complex bids, RFP and RFQ's.
