Human Resources Director

A key member of our Regional business and HR Management Team, this opportunity supports our South and East regions (Victoria and Tasmania). Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources Australia, this role plays an integral part in contributing to key regions in the Australian business unit, regional and project management teams and the national HR management team.
Key Responsibilities- Regional HR Strategy & Business Performance: Collaborate with our Regional Business and Project leaders to build people capabilities, provide outstanding people management counsel, and oversee the execution of all HR processes.
- Change Management: Lead and support organisational changes with a keen understanding of their impact on people, including but not limited to improved diversity and inclusion outcomes.
- Leadership Development: Work with the General Manager Human Resources to refine our capability needs, provide coaching for high-performance behaviours, and support senior leaders.
- Engagement & Culture: Drive the evolution of our company culture through strategic initiatives and action plans to boost engagement, as well as helping to continually improve our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
This is a high-profile role for the McConnell Dowell Australia business. As such our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience and tertiary qualification, ideally in the construction or resources sectors is preferred.
