Food Services Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values creating a welcoming and professional care experience for residents.

This role involves working collaboratively with our experienced and engaged team to provide high-quality food services that meet the needs of our residents.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.
  • Working flexibly across morning and afternoon shifts, including weekend and public holiday work.
  • Participating in kitchen operations, including food preparation, serving, and wash-up duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged care facility or hospital environment.
  • High level of customer service skills, with the ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that meets our organisational standards.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
