Expert Claims Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Claims Manager.
This key role involves handling a diverse portfolio of life, disability, and income protection claims. You will provide expert advice, investigate and assess claims, and coach your colleagues to develop their skills.
- Manage complex claims and implement proactive strategies to benefit both our members and the organization.
- Engage with members and stakeholders to understand their needs and circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with members, employers, healthcare professionals, and other key players to gather information, provide updates, and make informed decisions.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve member service delivery.
You possess excellent technical knowledge and empathy, guiding your team through complex claims with confidence and care. You are proactive, collaborative, and always looking for ways to improve processes and support your team's growth.
- You have solid experience in holistic claims management and have worked with Early Intervention Services, Rehabilitation, and Community Services.
- You have experience in the life/disability insurance claims industry.
- You enjoy supporting and mentoring others to develop their skills.
- You hold tertiary qualifications in a related field.
