Job Title

A leadership role is available to guide a team in delivering person-centred support, helping clients build confidence and skills, and securing meaningful work. You will coach the team to achieve outcomes, drive performance, and build partnerships with employers to create inclusive employment opportunities.


About The Role

This position leads the Canterbury Bankstown Employment Service Area (ESA), driving results and fostering growth. You will mentor and support a high-performing team under the guidance of the ESA's Service Manager.


Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team under the guidance of the ESA's Service Manager, driving results and fostering growth.
  • Develop your team's understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
  • Guide clients into meaningful work through trust, empathy, and personalised support.
  • Build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services - desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
  • Current Driver's License - essential
