Mental Health Services Manager

This is a leadership role that focuses on managing mental health programs and care provided by caregivers.
The position has dual responsibilities for leadership and coordination of caregivers within the service, as well as managing a clinical caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role in a community-based mental health setting, including task allocation to other clinical caregivers, supervision of a multidisciplinary team, and delivering individual and group therapy programs across various mental health presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise and delegate duties of caregiver caseloads for self and supervised caregivers
- Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice
- Demonstrate consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in service mental health programs and related clinical areas
- Provide clinical support and guidance to the Head to Health team
- Deliver mental health services to client groups with complex needs requiring advanced practice skills
- Demonstrate strong, current clinical knowledge and skills, applying them to contribute to supporting individuals and teams in clinical practice
- Lead and contribute to undergraduate student programs and training
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Nursing
- Registered with AHPRA or a relevant association
- Current driver's license
- Working with Children check
