Hydropower Refurbishment Project

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical tradesperson to lead our hydropower refurbishment project team. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the Electrical work for our Major Works program, which involves the refurbishment of hydropower assets across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to your work group, including junior Technicians/Assistants and Apprentices
  • Act as supervisor for selected contractors and act as Person-in-Charge for Hydro Tasmania work parties
  • Assist in the planning, maintenance, and completion of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) documentation for the work on and off site
  • Assist in developing and preparing Inspection Record Sheets (ITR's) and Inspection and Test Plans (IRS's)
  • Assist with compliance audits in line with Work, Health Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Monitor and report progress and performance

This is a unique opportunity to work on a major refurbishment project, utilising your technical skills and experience to lead a team of Electrical tradespeople. You will be based in one of our stunning locations across Tasmania, with the flexibility to discuss what arrangement works best for you.
