Paediatric Medicine Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in the pursuit of providing exceptional paediatric services within our community. As a Paediatric Consultant, you will be part of the Medical Leadership Team, working with dedicated healthcare staff to ensure that all accreditation standards are met.

About the Role:

  • Lead best practice in paediatric medicine while guiding a team of colleagues.
  • Use high-level leadership skills to lead a dedicated team focused on ensuring patient-centred systems and processes are in place.
  • Ensure we meet best practice requirements for consumers every time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional leadership and communicate effectively with the team, consumers, and their families.
  • Balance the requirements of best practice clinical governance while maintaining a focus on consumer needs and wants.
  • Demonstrate kindness and empathy in all interactions with peers and consumers and their families.
  • Form a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, particularly supporting Aboriginal consumers, their families, and kin.
