About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your experience in a sophisticated upscale hotel leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the operation of the bar, working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction and profit contribution.
  • Provide ongoing training and continual departmental improvement.
  • Take ownership of and offer problem-solving initiatives ensuring both the Guest's and Hotel/Departments' interests are met.
About You
  • A thorough understanding of classic cocktails and bar operations.
  • An ability to be creative on the menu.
  • A passion to build, lead, and mentor a team that is second to none.
  • 2-3 years minimum leadership experience in a five-star hotel or high-end cocktail bar.
  • Excellent time management, managerial, and organisational skills.
  • Full working rights in Australia and NSW RSA.
