Automated Credit Strategy Specialist

The Credit Risk Centre of Excellence is responsible for developing and implementing automated credit strategies that provide the best lending experience for customers, within risk appetite. The team builds credit strategies to support the automation of business lending, in-life processes, and arrears management.

We use data, analytics, risk management practices, and commercial acumen to build strategies that deliver the best risk-reward outcome.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and automate credit strategies for business lending products
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of credit strategy changes in credit decisioning systems and tactical processes
  • Automate credit strategy processes and controls to enable rapid test-and-learn cycles through tactical processes and user-developed tools
  • Manage end-to-end credit strategy changes in Experian One, such as changes to scorecard cutoff, serviceability parameters, etc.
  • Develop and implement data insights strategies that support business goals and objectives

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in credit risk or similar experience (e.g., analytics)
  • Proficient in data analytics tools e.g. R/Python/SAS/SQL/Teradata, and MS Suite
  • Proven ability to work with large data sets to implement complex credit strategies
