">- Demonstrate genuine safety-first leadership, leading by example and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and processes are adhered to, understood, and practiced.
- Develop front line capabilities, continuous improvement, and foster Lean manufacturing practises to achieve high performance.
- Set the overall strategy and standards for best-in-class efficiency and minimize production downtime.
- Manage daily and weekly production schedule for achieving optimum production efficiencies.
- Work closely with Quality/Supply Chain and Engineering to optimize production performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, support, and performance management.
- Ensure all ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards and practices are achieved.
The successful candidate will have:
">- A visible belief and demonstrated leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques.
- A working background in a manufacturing environment, which embraces operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong and effective communication skills to lead and inspire the operations team.
- Proven background in continuous Improvement and change management experience.
- Outstanding aptitude to communicate with a wide range of people coupled with coaching & development skills.
- Be outcomes-focused with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Manufacturing or related discipline is preferred in addition to your depth of experience in Manufacturing leadership.
