Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Expert to join our team in Tax Transparency and Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, providing expert advice, and implementing effective strategies to mitigate risk and enhance transparency.

The role involves ensuring compliance with CRS and FATCA regulations by developing, implementing, and maintaining robust compliance frameworks and processes. You will also oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of data required under CRS and FATCA, as well as provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on CRS and FATCA requirements, updates, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance frameworks and processes to ensure adherence to CRS and FATCA regulations
  • Oversight of data collection, validation, and reporting under CRS and FATCA
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on CRS and FATCA requirements and best practices
  • Risk mitigation and identification of potential compliance risks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, with a strong focus on CRS and FATCA; experience in a financial institution or multinational corporation is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of CRS and FATCA regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes access to health and wellbeing services, flexible working arrangements, and discounts on selected products and services from ANZ.
