About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and support our daily warehouse operations, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. As part of our global team, you will play a crucial role in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and minimizing the impact of unexpected issues.

This position requires robust people management skills, planning, and organizational expertise to actively develop and maintain a high-performing team culture. You will collaborate with various departments, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Digital Supply Chain teams, to ensure optimal supply chain performance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Warehouse team is supported to run the day-to-day operation, keeping production running without disruption, meeting KPIs, and minimizing the impact of unexpected issues.
  • Responsible for people management, planning, and organization of deliverables while actively developing a team culture.
  • Work with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure the smooth flow of materials at all stages of the supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, and Digital Supply Chain teams to ensure optimum supply chain performance.
  • Manage onsite equipment and contractors engaged in warehouse-related activities.
  • Implement, manage, and be accountable for ensuring compliance with all aspects of safety within the area of responsibility, proactively building a culture that promotes the highest levels of safety.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding of the theory and application of MRP/DRP systems.
  • Warehouse supervision and management skills.
  • Ability to improve the focus of the warehouse team, ensuring high standards are reached and maintained in areas such as OH&S, Quality, Customer Service, and Inventory Integrity.
  • A clear understanding of H&S policies and procedures with the ability to apply them in the day-to-day work environment.
  • Good knowledge of quality management processes and their application.
  • Strong experience in the administration of a warehouse/distribution operation.
  • Preferred minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
Estimated Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
