System Forecast Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with expertise in statistical algorithms and forecasting systems?

We are seeking a skilled System Forecast Analyst to join our team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing key inputs to forecasting systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining forecast methodologies to accurately predict weekly and daily sales for all products and stores.

The forecasts produced by forecasting systems form the basis for supply and network planning, as well as store and supplier ordering algorithms. As a System Forecast Analyst, you will be responsible for tuning and selecting statistical algorithms to improve forecasting accuracy.

You will also monitor performance/accuracy of forecasting system output, develop robust assessment methodologies, and mechanisms to record and benchmark forecast performance against expected results.

In addition, you will gather, extract, and manipulate required information to form a fact base for the assessment and modeling of forecast decisions.

  • Maintain and optimize key inputs to forecasting systems
  • Tune and select statistical algorithms to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Determine forecast methodologies to accurately predict weekly and daily sales
  • Monitor performance/accuracy of forecasting system output
