Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Regional Financial Controller in ongoing modeling and analysis of business performance, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position requires not only data collection but financial support through interpretation and analysis of trends and interrelationships for informed business decisions.

The Business Controller will support all aspects of Finance and Accounting within Australia and Pacific regions and be a strong business partner to various leaders in the sub-region and entity accounting finance organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare analysis on project profitability and capacity planning to enable decision-making or understand business drivers.
  2. Assist in cash collection process, ensuring maximum cash collection while minimizing risk.
  3. Support regional controllers on project accounting, forecasting, and preparation of project control packs.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain Hyperion Database and upload forecasts in Oracle or ensure timely journal entries.

Requirements

  • Experience in analysis, possession of a Bachelor of Accountancy (Finance, Business Administration), and strong business acumen are essential.
  • A proven track record in Finance Business Partnering and stakeholder management, IFRS GAAP Knowledge, and experience in strategic decision support are highly desirable.
  • Ability to articulate complex business and financial concepts, drive positive business outcomes, and manage stakeholders effectively is crucial.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Excel are must-haves.
