About The Position

We seek a passionate Specialist Children's Practitioner to support young families, offering tools, connection and skills that break crisis cycles and create stronger futures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored parenting education and group programs with compassion and understanding.
  • Support families through assessments and strength-based planning.
  • Empower parents with attachment-based strategies and child development knowledge.
  • Collaborate with case workers for holistic, child-focused care.
  • Create engaging resources meeting each family's needs.
  • Lead staff training in trauma-informed practice.
  • Champion safety, stability and healing.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Tertiary degree in social work or related discipline.
  • Experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed work with children and families.
  • Confidence in delivering parenting education or developmental tools.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
