**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Engagement and Community Liaison to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving student performance and educational outcomes, defining quality teacher practice, and mentoring/coaching other teachers.

The ideal candidate will have high-level knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills, and be able to respond to student learning needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve student performance and educational outcomes.
  • Define quality teacher practice and contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.
  • Mentor and coach other teachers to engage in critical reflection of their practice and support staff to expand their capacity.
  • Provide expert advice on content, processes, and strategies that will shape individual and school professional learning.
  • Supervise and train one or more student teachers.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

The successful applicant must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
