We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Leasing Paralegal. This role plays a critical part in instructing, negotiating and finalizing leases and associated tenancy documents. The ideal candidate will have strong interpretive, analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct and negotiate leases and associated tenancy documents.
- Provide initial advice on the interpretation of lease documents and retail tenancies legislation.
- Work closely with leasing, development and shopping centre teams.
- Instruct solicitors to prepare and finalize lease documentation in accordance with approved terms.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Leasing Paralegal with exposure to at least one state-based retail regulatory framework.
- Strong understanding of lease documents and retail tenancies legislation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently while managing competing priorities.
