Equipment Specialist Job Summary">

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all machinery involved in processing operations is fit for service and able to work with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement the service and repair of processing equipment used at the facility, diagnosing operational problems and implementing appropriate solutions in an efficient manner taking into account safety, quality and cost control.
  • Repair or arrange for the repair of mechanical parts of all machinery in conjunction with the approval of the maintenance manager.
  • Identify and advise the Maintenance Manager of any impending problems that could affect efficiency of processing / production.
  • Implement maintenance program as set by the Maintenance manager for all machinery used in operations.
  • Work in conjunction with other employees, contractors and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Welding, MIG, TIG, Arc & Oxy
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • Diagnostics skills
  • Previous experience in the repair and maintenance industry
  • Trade Certificate or relevant experience
