About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Underground Mining Operations team. This vital role will be based in Narrabri, NSW and involves providing essential maintenance work on underground mining equipment so that production can continue.
This important position has 3 available roles, offered on a residential or DIDO basis. Relocation assistance can be made available to candidates looking to move to the area.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance work on underground mining equipment
  • Maintain plant availability through inspections, fault finding, diagnosis and remediation actions
  • Report on defects and update maintenance and production logs
  • Complete planned and routine maintenance as per schedule
  • Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability

Requirements:
  • Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Minimum 12-months experience working in an underground mine
  • Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving machinery
  • Must demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
  • Ability to work rotating shifts – day, night and afternoon
