Key Agronomic Position Available

A leading agronomic solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agronomist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide expert on-farm recommendations, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth of the business.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2+ years' experience in agronomy, preferably in pasture and/or broadacre, along with a diploma or bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field. They will possess strong technical knowledge and practical experience with on-farm recommendations, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in mentoring junior staff.

About the Role:
  • Deliver tailored agronomic advice aligned with clients' production goals
  • Conduct on-farm assessments and provide recommendations for fertiliser, pasture, and broadacre cropping
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Stay current with agronomic trends, technologies, and product developments
  • Help to continue to build and lead the agronomic business
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in agronomy, preferably in pasture and/or broadacre
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with on-farm recommendations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • An interest or experience in mentoring a junior agronomist would be highly desirable
