Job Description

As an experienced Agronomist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on fertiliser, pasture, and broadacre cropping practices. Your primary goal is to help clients achieve maximum productivity and sustainability in their agricultural operations.

You will work closely with existing and new clients to deliver tailored agronomic solutions that meet their specific needs. This will involve conducting on-farm assessments, providing recommendations, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality agronomic advice aligned with client goals.
  • Conduct thorough on-farm assessments and provide recommendations for fertiliser, pasture, and broadacre cropping.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Stay current with the latest agronomic trends, technologies, and product developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in agronomy, preferably in pasture and/or broadacre.
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with on-farm recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An interest or experience in mentoring junior agronomists (desired but not required).
