Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Neuroscientist to investigate novel treatments for motor neuron disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth studies on the mechanisms and potential treatment of motor neuron disease.
  • Develop and use zebrafish models of MND through molecular biology techniques.
  • Utilize various methods including Western blotting, proteomic approaches, confocal microscopy, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, and drug treatment studies.
  • Assist in the preparation of scholarly publications and perform data analysis.
Requirements:
  • PhD in medical science or related disciplines and experience conducting research.
  • Strong background in neuroscience mechanisms such as mitochondrial function and metabolism, with a desire to solve problems relating to neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in molecular biology techniques, zebrafish models, cell culture models, and microscopy.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
