The Senior Project Specialist role involves supporting the development of a federally funded research platform that combines environmental, demographic, and health data for research and decision-making.
This position focuses on preparing and onboarding datasets into a national-scale data warehouse to support statistical models and analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire, prepare, and manage complex spatial and time-series datasets to support the AusEnHealth platform.
- Manage the preparation and onboarding of datasets into a national-scale data warehouse.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records with minimal supervision.
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated skills in data analysis tools such as R or Python, with experience in data wrangling, cleaning, and quality assurance.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
