Event Coordinator Role

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that plays a crucial part in our organization. As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing exceptional event experiences for our members and partners—from conception to delivery.

In this varied and rewarding position, you'll manage all logistical aspects of the events, including venue selection, research, AV setup, event marketing, and management, as well as delegate liaison and registration. You will also develop scripts, run sheets, and presentations.

Collaborating with members, speakers, sponsors, and the team, this role is a frontline representative of the organization at events, ensuring a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for all attendees.

This role is end-to-end, hands-on, and full-time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event planning and execution, on time, smoothly, and within budget parameters
  • Partner management and coordination
  • Event and Sponsorship Marketing
  • Conference and Awards Gala coordination
  • Supplier and vendor management and coordination
  • Supporting our Events Committee and Education Committee
  • Providing administrative support and engaging with valued stakeholders
