Mandatory Requirements:
  1. Completion of a trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent, is essential for this role.
  2. A valid 'C' class driver's license or equivalent is required, and the successful applicant will be expected to obtain a HR class driver's license within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Participation in an after-hours call-out roster is necessary to meet the demands of the position.
  4. Occasional weekend work or other rostered shifts may be required to undertake workshop or field service activities.
  5. As a Transportation Mechanic, you may be required to travel to other service locations to perform workshop or field service activities for varying periods of time.
Desirable Requirements:
  1. A refrigerant handling license or equivalent, or any other heavy vehicle or plant-associated license or certificate, is highly desirable.
  2. A High Risk LF Forklift Truck license is also highly desirable.
  3. A current Queensland 'HR' Class driver's license or equivalent is highly desirable.
