Project Finance Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Advisor to join our team at MUFG Bank, Ltd., Australia. As a key member of our project finance team, you will be responsible for originating and executing financial advisory or lending mandates in Oceania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure transactions comply with MUFG's credit and other policies
  • Supervise and/or build and run Excel-based financial models to support advisory and lending activities
  • Undertake research and analytics to support advisory activities
  • Support and undertake due diligence activities
  • Develop transaction structures and documentation
  • Maintain relationships with clients, other financial institutions, and teams within MUFG
  • Assist in preparing presentations for mandates and origination activities
  • Liaise with MUFG's local and international networks
  • Manage deal information on internal systems and associated deal processes

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in project finance or modelling from a major bank, advisory services firm, or chartered accounting firm
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, or Economics from a leading university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and strong financial modelling capabilities
  • Ability to build and run financial models from scratch
  • Understanding of financial structures and debt markets
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across various work streams

This role offers a competitive salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
